He HATED The Tarp! | Taming A Wild Horse [EP 4]
In this video I focus on desensitizing the Wild Horse to the Tarp! His reaction is definitely more intense than usual with him attempting to buck the tarp off his back! Eventually he allows me to put it on him and he relaxes with the tarp. We're still dealing with very dangerous kicking out throughout the lesson so I have to be very careful about where I stand and watch the horse at all times! progress is still slow but there is some improvement as the days progress!

This WILD HORSE Is CRAZY! | Taming A Wild Horse [EP 2]
Переглядів 1,9 тис.Місяць тому
This horse is already pushing me to the absolute limits of my horsemanship! He’s taken the longest of any horse I’ve ever worked with to halter and he has been extremely resistant to my attempts to control him through body language in the pen. Progress is slower than usual but he is still learning. It looks like it’s going to be a lot harder than I expected to train this horse! Check out Horse ...
How To Bring An Old Cheap Saddle Back To Life! SADDLE RESTORATION!

This saddle was extremely dirty and worn out! It looked like someone had wiped the dust off of it but it hadn't been deep cleaned for many years! In this video I bring you along as I disassemble, clean, reassemble, modify, waterproof and finally test out the new to me saddle! Huge thanks to my good friend Landin and also his mom Karry who helped me to get this saddle from over 5000 miles away! ...
I Can’t Catch This WILD Horse! | Taming a WILD Horse [EP1]

This is day 1 of a series of videos that follow the journey of one very Wild Horse! In this video I struggle to build trust with the young horse and am not able to catch him even after 1 hour of working with him. Little did I know that was just a sign of what was to come because this horse would turn out to be the hardest horse I’ve ever trained! To see the very first time I interacted with thi...
Training A 2 Year Old Filly! [Part 2]

This Filly has tried everything to deter me from desensitizing her especially to touch. Mocha (we Just named her) is learning slowly to trust me and to be obedient and respectful. Each day she's improving in the normal exercises and learning important new lessons! This video is not a full video of all the training (that would be more than 5 hours long) but simply an overview of the most enterta...
SHE TRIED TO KICK ME! | Training A 2 Year Old Filly [Part 1]
Переглядів 4,1 тис.3 місяці тому
This young filly is new to the ranch was completely untrained. I purchased her a while back but due to so many other horses in training I only recently finished training her. She was disrespectful, defensive and dangerous! She had a phobia of things touching her head or nose which made haltering her difficult to say the least. One of her biggest problems was how lazy she was! She hated to run a...

Been watching a tone of your videos! This is probably my third comment. One of my favorite things about your channel is how you don't fluff too much. Very to the point solid information! Your short videos are perfect for my "short attention spasm" haha
Been watching a lot of your videos! Love them, thank you!
I always wanted a horse to ride on because I’m older enough I’m seven❤❤
I enjoyed watching your video. I have a legitimate question as one who has never done this. At what point do you decide it is enough for one day? Or do you decide he isn’t feeling this today and come back later or the next day?
Hi Rebecca! Glad to hear you enjoyed the video! Typically my training lessons are between 45-60 minutes with healthy adult horses. If I notice the horse getting too tired (excessive sweating or labored breathing) then I can end the lesson early. I’m trying to teach the horses certain things and as soon as he does them better than the day before then I stop 😊
Cmon, who knows the names of this song?
Have you ever tried the weighted sandbag method??
I applaud you man, love your work, and your videos man. Keep going brother 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.
So does the ear pinning towards you, chewing, smaller circle and head lowered to the ground actually work for the initial join up??
now you have a BestFriendForever ........ Beautiful 🐎✨
So ready to see this entire process. I’m looking to tame my first horse soon. I watch a bunch of Monty Roberts and you. I think I’ll be ready once I start working with the horse. 🙏🏾
Amazing video! I’m going to try this out today. I just got a new horse about 2 months ago and he is starting to show his true colors he bites, runs off when I try to lunge him, and has terrible ground manners. Im really trying to work with him on respecting me and my commands without being to aggressive to the point he fears me. I’ve been riding for 12 years and he is the smartest horse i’ve seen he’s about 7 years old and he try’s to trick you into thinking he can’t do something when he’s perfectly capable of doing so😂. He’s a tricky one but hopefully your tips will help! Thank you.
But he kept trying to nip my hands when I did that? He seemed to see it as a game
“Did you want to run away?” Well that’s too bad 😂😂😂😂
Total trust issues starting out but the master gets away with taming another Filly!☺️
There's no way a wild, untouched horse will stand this calmly, let alone be willing to allow it's first human contact. It's trainers like you that ruin it for horse owners and horses. You set them up to fail, be disappointed, because they expect it to be this easy. To make matters worse, you set up the wild horse for failure because you teach humans that all horses should act this way. In the end, developing horses should be easy, an easy process, but that doesn't mean the horse is easy. Easy means we make it EASY FOR THE HORSE. We should always be compassionate and consider the horse. While this video is pleasing to the eye, you have many that show the horse rearing, bucking under saddle, absolutely frightened. It shouldn't be that way. We need to make it EASY for the horse, not easy for the human.
Aren’t you just a little ray of sunshine 🥰 Do you always leave such encouraging comments on other horse peoples videos? 💞 Thanks for watching and commenting because that only helps more people find the channel! 😇
Then let the horse mount you and find out. If your so considerate then consider that people want to work with the horse together and not for an animal.
That is really nice, how they trust:)))how long does one session take?
Well done,
That was amazing!
12 days ago I should fix that
Thank you for giving us the training series! It’s awesome to witness the transformation! ❤ Looking forward to upcoming videos.
One question when my horse ships backwards he doesn’t shift he starts backing up instead of shifting and I’m only 11 so I can’t exactly put my weight to keep his leg up. What do you have for that?
Awe! Is she ever cute😊! She is a good girl👍
Thanks for your videos, you have a simple and easy method to follow. been watching you videos for a while and i really like them.
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoy them!
Don't think it's ever fun when a horse goes crazy, but I think I get what you were saying 👍
Very smart horse. He's picking up on everything.
He’s so intelligent! He sees every move I make! Can’t wait for you to see the next videos!
Great progress!!
Thank you! Yes slow but steady!
Wow, those wild horses have definitely honed their kicking skills! Way to stick with it, even though he's still not friends with that bag. I look forward to seeing how he progresses. Thanks for the video!
They have some serious aim! Yes he eventually gets over it! Can’t wait for you to see the next videos!
Wow does he have good aim! he nailed that bag over and over! So like where would one stand not to get kicked? 🤷♂️😂
Yes he has great aim! He got me a couple of times 😅 Ideally up by his front leg you can watch my first video on the channel to see exactly where to stand!
What a brave horse! You could see him trembling with the plastic bag but he held his ground. That rear leg kick is accurate! That 20 step back up was hilarious. I love your videos! They're not too long, which is nice. Great editing.
Thanks so much! Yes he’s such a special horse! So many more videos with him on the way!

Soon!
yo this horse looks so at peaxe when it is with you❤
🙌🏼❤️Getting there!
I'm a "horse whisperer." Just like the character played by Robert Redford. Step one... I calm the stallion so that I can ride him. Step 2: on my first ride, I whisperer something encouraging into his ear. When I come back, you'd swear the horse was laughing. Step 3: after my second ride, the horse has his head down and looks depressed. I tell the ranchers that the job is done. They ask me how did you do that? I told them that they first ride out, I suggested that my penis was bigger than his. The second ride... I showed it to him. 😆🤣
I don't think its a wild horse, anyway, satisfying to see.
this is the first time he’s had someone on him?! Gives me hope for my boy. I’m just starting to do this with him. He does try to buck me off though.. do you have any suggestions for that? Thanks
Thank you ive got 3 year old stallion thats only just turned 3 and he has a really bad biting problem so ill try this X
Watching that horse, she didn’t look happy AT ALL! 🤷♀️
WOOW, what a beautiful horse!!! And the way you are training him is really impressive too! 🙂 Thanks!
I don't think I'd leave a horse tied overnight like that. Hobbles, at best... bears and such.
Yea best to use a halter and a tie ring when tying for longer periods!
I've just discovered your training videos, love your style! how the horses respond to you, yr easy to follow and you make so much sense! , im going to try these techniques on my horses, thank you !
Brilliant
I don't know why but it made me wanna cry 🥺
Our foal was born last night but momma won’t let us close
How sweet! That’s sad to hear. It’s very difficult to work with a foal of the mother is not well trained before the foal is born 😬
How long did episode 1 and 2 actually take. the 2 foals your working with, do you usualy do a hour or so or is it a long day of rince and repeat. is 6 or 7 hours to much is it just 1 hour or so you work with the foal on day 1?????
This is so cool to watch
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi! I got 2 horses about 1 and 2 yo, I carry them on meadow and don’t have a fence, I want to ask can I train them on the open or it’s better in a closed enclosure? Nicw greetings, I learn a lot from you❤🙏
Hi! Much better in an enclosed environment because if you drops the rope and they run away you still can get them back easier! Thanks for watching! ❤️💪🏼
Fabulous
You are a badass sir! Thank you
Haha thank you!
This video is helping me so much with taming my own BLM/wild horse. I am wondering though, how he ended up knowing that when you were kissing that meant he had to move his hindquarters instead of just running again? How'd you get him to that level of understanding?
Glad to hear this video is helping you! Using pressure and release through my body language I’m able to reward the right thing very clearly for horses. Then soon they learn exactly what I want even without ever touching them!
Thanks! My horse has a bigger problem with front legs tho- she kneels...and I'm always afraid that she'll injure jerself if I keep holding jer foot...so I let go- or hold the upper part of her leg so that she can't kneel...we're seeing progress but....damn- what do I do? Someone mentioned roping it like you did-but- what if she starts kneeling? When do you even leg go of the preassure with the rope???
Hi! It’s not going to injure her to kneel unless it’s on a hard or rough surface. I would just let her kneel. By letting go of her foot when she kneels you’re teaching her that kneeling is the best way to get you to let her foot go. Instead hold onto her foot even when she’s kneeling and wait for her to stand back up and then let her foot go. Teaching her that if she stands up nicely and calmly you’ll let her foot go immediately. Soon you won’t have to let her foot go so soon and then she’ll not kneel anymore!
@@HorsePerfect alright! Thank you :)) is doing it on short to medium grass okey? I don't have an area with sand..
